PAULA MONSALVE, singer, native of Chile, will return to the UIC Latino Cultural Center B1 on Saturday, October 25th at 5:30 pm.

In this performance she combines her inevitable skills with the Argentinean Band NAN, directed by Diego Clemente. Together they bring the release of her latest album ”REINA MIA-QUEEN OF MINE’’ a selection of Paula’s own lyrics inspired by the deep profound feelings of life, sorrow, love and hope. Also they will present a traditional folk music repertoire with “THE MUSICFROM THE END OF THE ANDES “….songs by Violeta Parra, Atahualpa Yupanqui,Victor Heredia and many others.

Paula has become a true cultural ambassador to the Midwest. Since 1986 she has performed with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, Anderson Symphony Orchestra, Marion Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Clasica de la Universidad de Santiago, Chile and the Ben-Dorit Symphony Orchestra from Israel.
